Year 1 A

After studying the use of MUST, we have listed the classroom rules we know so well. Following them is a little bit more difficult, though.

CLASSROOM RULES
You must be quiet
You must sit properly
You must listen to the teacher
You mustn’t eat in class
You must come to school clean and properly dressed
You mustn’t be silly in class
You mustn’t scream in class
You mustn’t run in class
You mustn’t swear
You mustn’t listen to music on your MP3
You mustn’t use your mobile phone in class
You mustn’t be late
You must respect the school materials
You mustn’t play in class
You mustn’t sleep in class

Year 1 B

We've learnt a very useful verb this week: MUST. To see examples of its use we've discussed the classrooms rules. Here is what we've come up with:
RULES FOR THE STUDENTS
You must be quiet
You must respect your classmates and the school materials
You must sit correctly
You must be tidy
You mustn’t play in the classroom
You mustn’t use your mobile phone in class
You must keep your drawer tidy
You must work in class
You must pay attention in class
You mustn’t study other subjects in English class
You must raise your hand to speak
You must do your homework
You mustn’t be late
You must study every day before coming to school
You must follow these rules

RULES FOR THE TEACHERS
Teachers mustn’t set a lot of homework
