Hello students of 1st of ESO!!
A good way to break the ice and get in the mood for English class is to chat a little bit about issues that interest us. These are examples of questions and answers we can use at the beginning of the class (copy them in the relevant section of your English folder):
1. What did you do on Saturday / Sunday?
I celebrated my brother's birthday.
I went to the supermarket with my father.
I played a football match against Cubelles.
I met my friend Isabelita.
2. What did you do yesterday after school?
I went to music class.
I played basketball.
I did my homework.
I went shopping.
3. What are you going to do this weekend?
I am going to watch a film at the cinema.
I am going to study for the maths exam.
I am going to sleep a lot.
I am going to see my grandmother.
